TIABC’s Advocacy and Policy Development is based on four key principles:

1. Elevate the importance, value and potential of the tourism industry within all levels of government.
2. Ensure TIABC’s advocacy efforts are effectively influencing all levels of government to successfully support the tourism industry in a timely manner.
3. Encourage tourism-friendly municipal policies.
4. Alert major political parties to the importance, value and future growth of tourism.
