Gerardo Corro is the Executive Director of Tourism New Westminster, where he leads destination marketing, visitor services, and strategic development. With extensive experience in tourism, hospitality, and destination management, he has built a career focused on strengthening destinations through innovation, strategic partnerships, and community-centered growth.

In addition to his leadership role, Gerardo is a university professor in tourism and hospitality and the founder of GESTUR Consultancy, an advisory firm specializing in destination strategy, marketing, and tourism development. Earlier in his career, he co-founded Rotamundos Hotels and helped guide its international expansion into a recognized hospitality and travel company operating across multiple countries. Throughout his career, he has led projects for destinations across different regions, contributing to the development of successful strategic plans and impactful tourism initiatives worldwide.
