Tourism Week 2026

Tourism Week 2026: April 20-24

Tourism Week 2026 (April 20-24) is a vibrant, annual celebration around BC and across Canada, where we unite as tourism partners.. It’s an opportunity to proudly highlight BC’s incredible destinations, dedicated tourism professionals, and the far-reaching benefits tourism brings to our economy, communities, and everyday lives. Together, we’re not just promoting places, we’re strengthening local businesses, creating jobs, enriching cultural exchanges, and supporting sustainable growth that benefits residents and visitors alike.

Tourism is also a powerful connector. It fosters cultural exchange, strengthens relationships between visitors and host communities, and creates opportunities to share authentic stories, traditions, and perspectives. In British Columbia, this includes advancing meaningful partnerships with First Nations and supporting Indigenous-led tourism experiences that contribute to cultural revitalization and economic empowerment.

To support participation, Destination BC and TIABC have partnered to deliver a comprehensive BC Tourism Week Toolkit. This resource is designed to make it easy for businesses and organizations of all sizes to engage, celebrate, and amplify their stories throughout the week.

The toolkit includes:

  1. Key messaging to align and strengthen communications across the province
  2. A content calendar to guide daily engagement
  3. Social media-ready graphics for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
