The Tourism Industry Association of British Columbia (TIABC) has responded to a recent announcement from the City of Mission, advising of Council’s decision to shutter Tourism Mission as of December 31, 2024.
In a letter to the city, TIABC urged Council to reconsider its motion and instead support Tourism Mission as the city’s destination management organization (DMO) for the benefit of local residents, businesses, visitors and the
community at-large.
